PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Practices will be Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-6:30. The first practice for new riders will be July 15th. See the full calendar list below.
We will start at lower Myrick park near the gun club shelter, and will move to upper Hixon the first week in August.
We do a skills assessment at the beginning of the season and organize practice groups primarily by skill. We advance student athletes to the next group as their skills progress
WHAT TO BRING
NICA Suggests the following checklist to ensure you’re ready for the season!
- Functioning bike, checked by a mechanic
- Undamaged and properly-fitted helmet
- Clothing appropriate for the ride
- Carry water with you
- Food/snacks as necessary
- Waterproof Jacket and necessary layers for weather
- medications (to be self administered)
- Tube for you tires, or tubeless repair kit
- mini-pump or C02 and inflator
- Tire lever(s)
- Multi tool with chain breaker
- Headlight and blinking red light if commuting to or from practice

- May 31st – 9-11am Try it out Day- For anyone grades 6-12 who would like to try mountain biking, free event @ Myrick Gun Club Shelter
